I have made these in the past too. Smaller ones are cute as well. If you have lots of cereal boxes you could cut out extra pieces and glue them to the inside to make them sturdier - that's what I did. When they are all covered over with wrapping paper you can't see what's gone on inside. Just a suggestion. I love trying to think of alternative uses for things like this.

Mellison, This is so cool and easy. I already have magazine holders, but these would be great to hold extra aluminum foil, plastic wrap, & plastic storage bags I keep in a plastic shopping bag. I'm making two of these on Monday. I saved 3 boxes last week, looking for a way to recycle them. Thanks for the fantastic idea!

for something a bit sturdier thick cardboard boxes(i personally used some pizza boxes) are the way to go.
