I did it this way at first. The back support bar would bend, when someone sat in it. It was NOT strung too tight. A woman at the cord manufacturer gave me the correct instructions. The only difference is the way you go around the back support bar. In stead of going under the support bar try going over, around and up between the stands then continue as usual. This made an amazing difference, the support bar didn't bend AND the bar was covered giving it a nice finished look

#1 The horizontal cords should be wrapped around the back seat support ( over-around-up). The gives more room for when the chair gets folded, WITHOUT having the seat and back becoming too loose. Learned this the hard way! Paracord holds up to weather better than macrame cord and you can do more intricate designs. I also count my cords as singles when doing the horizontals.

1.) macrame is with knots, 2.) crochet uses that kind of hook. 3.) this type of crafting is actually a fantastic mix of crochet, weaving, and macrame. This is a whole new type of crafting, I only wish that she explained it better

little less conversation, little more explanation. I'm still lost because you quit before even explaining much of the cross weaving.

Polypropylene cord is waterproof and fadeproof where regular macrame cord is not. Lawn chairs are usually outside so that must be considered. Whoever the lady showhost is, I'd fire her in a NY minute for asking such stupid questions. Children are more mature than that lady.

The lady show host asked about 3 questions. I think the questions were good questions.

She doesn’t know her basic weaving terms( she’s on tv and doesn’t even know her terminology)

Ok.....this woman is extremely annoying and loud. The two questions she was asked ....she did not answer. Next TV appearance come prepared to answer questions and leave your "I'm the best attitude" for when you work at night. Also ...never start your sentences with "OK" it sends a condescending tone and you treating the other two people like they are dumb. Trash!!
