💙 SUPPLIES 💙
1 - 12 inch (30cm) wooden dowel
22 - 60 inch (152cm) 3mm 3 strand cotton rope
- 200 inches (508cm) 1mm thin stiff craft cord such as waxed cord
- measuring tape
- masking tape
- tapestry needle
- scissors
1 - roll of t-shirt yarn in, pink
1 - roll of t-shirt yarn in, green
1 - roll of t-shirt yarn in, blue
EACH SQUARE IN GRID REPRESENTS A VERTICAL DOUBLE HALF HITCH KNOT
*I don’t give the exact measurement for t-shirt yarn because brands and tension varies between companies and artists quite a lot. I work with 120 inch strands at a time and add more as I go.
**feel free to substitute t-shirt yarn for 3mm single strand rope
💙 Here is the link to my friends small yarn shop where you can purchase your own T-shirt yarn. She ships to most countries so have a peek: buyyarn.online/index.php/othe...

💙 Thank you! ☺️ I’m not sure I understand your question but the name of the app I use to change images to a grid pattern is called PixelArt

I understand the third row where you change from blue to green. But, my question is: your green appears on the next row. So, are you cutting the green yarn short and using just one piece per row or have you cut the green long and are bringing it down to the next row when you need it? (Kind of like when you knit with various colors. You can carry the yarn to the next row.) I would have liked to have seen how you change from row to row.

💙 It’s one long cord. I swap it out whenever I need to switch colours, no cutting. If you take a look at the back 5:25 you can see I run it along the back a lot. The reason why I didn’t cut it is because it’s more wasteful and takes up much more time cleaning up the ends at the back as there would be a lot more pieces to clean up. Hope that helps 🤗

@@SimplyInspiredbySheena Thanks for replying so fast. That’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure. I’ll also go back to that time and take another look. It makes sense to use a long piece and not waste it. I saw another video where the woman cuts a new piece of rope on every row even when it’s all one color. I would hate to have to tie in all those ends. So, I like your video much better. Thanks again for your help!!! Appreciate it!
