DIY Let's Make A Moss Art Wall Together

I can't thank you guys enough for all of the feedback on my moss wall video. I felt totally bummed about losing the footage for the frame so I decided to build a new one to show you all how simple it can be to create your very own frame for a moss wall or any piece of artwork.
This video is the second part of my moss wall series so be sure to be on the lookout this Friday, November 20th, for my next video within my Moss Wall playlist. Please leave any questions below!
Thanks for watching and I appreciate all of your support. I drop a new
video every week on Wednesday at 2pm and I am trying to reach 1k

    Great project! Have you noticed any decomposition of your wooden frame after a year?? I am wondering what I should make my frame out of!

    Hi there, thank you. No I haven’t noticed any difference in the wood. As long as you stain the wood to protect it, it should be fine. I used pine wood. Also keep in mind that these are hung indoor.

    I have questions! Does the glue hurt the moss? How do you care and water the moss wall? I've seen people mist theirs I wondered if you do the same! I love it and plan to make one but I definitely don't want it to die on me! Going to watch your other video just in case that answers my questions!

    Thank you, no treatment needed with the exception of keeping it out of direct sunlight. And it should stay indoors.

    So in terms of types of moss is this a combination of super moss - reindeer moss - and a bun moss? All from Amazon?

  • @WillowMint

    I used loose moss, mood moss, sheet moss, and a few fake pieces of moss. Yes I use the super moss brand and I believe I put the links in the description box. Good Luck!

    I’m so glad you’re not kissing the behind of companies just because…deals plus quality. So who do you recommend for bang for the bulk&quality preserver moss?

  • @WillowMint

    @WillowMint

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thank you, honesty is the best policy. Super moss is the best for bulk moss. Their moss is decent. As far as the pillow moss, the company that I don’t recommend had very nice quality moss, but again didn’t get what was listed. I only got half. There are a few on Etsy that sell good quality moss, you just have to compare prices.

    Is this glue stronger than the glue gun or mod?

  • @WillowMint

    @WillowMint

    2 ай бұрын

    The glue is construction glue. A glue gun can work but if your piece is large it would take too much hot glue vs the construction glue. Also what I like about the glue I used is that it doesn’t dry too fast and if I want to move something around, I can.

    Is liquid nails the most discreet & reliable adhesive ? I heard hot glue or standard construction grade gorilla glue

  • @WillowMint

    @WillowMint

    2 жыл бұрын

    I have used hot glue for smaller projects. But with the size of this project, hot glue would have been and expensive option with how many glues sticks I would have to purchase. Also hot glue dries so fast. So if I didnt like the way something is resting, I would ruin the moss by ripping it off. Gorilla glue is an option as well.

  • @WillowMint

    @WillowMint

    2 жыл бұрын

    And to answer your question, the construction glue was the best choice for this size project. It’s been a year and so far it’s still standing well.
