Well its a good idea but it wont stick there for long and eventually fall due to extreme weather conditions, plus leds are naked so will not be pleasant to eyes instead u shud have put the strip in some kind of tube to diffuse its light, this way it will look more pleasant but still sticking it to corner will always be troublesome ig. Thanks for the tut anyway

Thanks for your comment. All you have to do is remove the stock glue tape from the LED strip and use a 3M double sided tape. I’ve been using this for 11 months in extreme weather conditions and still holds without any issue.

Very well done! Would it be possible to power the arduino from a usb adapter? It's 5 volt so no need for regulator also.

Hi. Thanks a lot. If the USB adapter’s power rating is 2A or higher, Yes. The reason is White colour is pulling more current.

Best effect, but i use it for my computer. I have question, can u create for me little edited this code. Same like on this car door, but only up, down, full (same brightess), without flash and fade in, only on the end fade out to different brightness with some speed, and never end light (stop loop, or i can put realy long delay). I try editing you code, but without any progress.

Trust me the dc power module get super heated as WS2812B LEDs are power hungry. But it depends on the dc power module and number of LEDs you use. Try and see.

Thanks for ur prompt reply. The car Logo when u open the door and step ur foot on is called the door sill or car welcome pedal. Ill share a link with you for better understanding. Hi. Shouldn’t be hard. LED strip is thin enough and the controller can be fixed away from it.

Yeah that’s true. The reason is light is turn in with power on to arduino. So if you connect 4 strips to one arduino, all with on with a single door open
