You reminded me of my childhood. When I was a kid we used to do that but we never cooked it. We used to submerged the leaves simply in water and leave it for few days and then rub it with hands to remove the green chlorophyll. Then we would paint and decorate them then frame it. Woh bhi kyaa din thay.....
