I made a DIY wood fired Korean BBQ table that uses a Solo Stove so that no propane or gas is required. The concrete table is made from Quikrete 5000 Concrete mix. I used about 12 of the 50lbs bags. I used 1/2" rebar but wire mesh should also work if you don't have tools to cut steel. The concrete pieces weigh about 140-160 lbs each but I think I will make the next version of the concert table about a foot linger and 6 inches wider. Vinyl baseboard trim is a great low cost flexible material for concrete molds or forms and is available at most Home Depots. I used 3/4" thick melamine for the rest of the formwork.

I made this exact thing for my solo stove over a year ago now! I was inspired by your DIY out door couch video where you drill up into three beams and so that’s what holds up my slab! Of course your design is better then mine. Making it two pieces was smart I wish I would of thought of that! Now I’m gunna try my hand at Korean BBQ! Good work as always!!!
This project turned out so cool! Makes me want a Solo Stove!!
Wow! What a skill! A concrete brazier that you make yourself!!! I'm Korean, but I never dreamed of such a concrete brazier. You guys are amazing
Cool to see your brother helping out too. Awesome project.
Wow, that's really cool. Very educational to watch the process. Thanks 👌
I did something similar years ago but instead of a grill I used a deepfryer. After that I would do a hot pot with chicken broth. My late wife was a hairdresser for a theater so we had actors to our home often. Well done it's nice to see stuff to use for the family.
I love your concrete projects. keep making !

Lol I know this is random, but here I am. Korean approved. There are lots of of restaurants that uses that kind of stove+table tops, and I don't know what they did but the tables get really hot, like-you can get burned-hot. So now I wanna try your version😂 As always another magnificient build! Keep them coming!
After watching this video, I am so hungry....... Hungry for creativity!

its a pretty easy way to entertain since all you have to do is prep and then you socialize while cooking and eating!

Can't wait for the full video for maker ranch 2.0. You do have some cool projects I see on your I.G keep it up

Thats a very Good Idea
Keep meaning to tackle one of your concrete projects. Been tempted to up my galbi game and try using traditional wooden charcoal too. And love the low table, brings me back to eating dinner growing up. And those seats are so cool. Sigh.

we ate at a low table most of my life!
Damn, that looks way better than any grills what I saw in my country lmao Great work. Also thank you for having interest in our culture. It was joy to watch.
Turned Korean BBQ into another level. Grilled beef, pork and some Kimchi will do the evening reaaaaaal good~ Oh yes don't forget about Soju.👍👍
I’m sure you probably know this, but I’m gonna share it anyway. If you spray some rubbing alcohol on top of hot glue and let it sit for like 15/22, the bond breaks pretty easy you can pop it off with your finger. That was an amazing project. By the way! I love it.

This is insane
:) u good :)
This guy😍😍
Really cool! I didn't expect the concrete to be able to span that distance but I suppose that's why you put the rebar in

concrete can span entire floors of office buildings with very little support and can hold ungodly amounts of weight.
Super freakin cool Ben!!! Plain & simple!!! Oh & fun fact. Propane is almost odorless. The smell is a (FARTS) additive in order to help us detect leaks. Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!!

I had a kitchen worktop made of concrete 20 years ago and it was so heavy, but it looked fantastic. Concrete is prone to staining and should be waterproofed.

Yes, I did concrete countertops for my loft about 7 years ago and they are holding up great. The first stain did bother me a little but once they had hundreds of stains they just looked weathered with a nice aged patina.
위생을 위해 고깃집게를 사용해야한답니다^^ by the way concrete. awesome.
굿~
when they pick up on the grill, looks like a driving harley lol
Remember theres no flame on chatcoal 😅 did you known it? you are a good barbecuer😊😊

😍
Looks amazing besides that I’m a bit hesitant when it comes to sitting with my knees snuggly close to a glowing steel-drum…
What I love is you don't use super expensive brands tools. Basic ryobi to their vac. Nothing like $500 tools that is out of reach
I have a recommendation for you to use the lump charcoal, not the firewood. ;) enjoy it!
As a Korean, I feel a little awkward of the height from the table plane - in Korea, it is totally near flat or a little under from the table. But anyway highly appreciate your DIY!
