DIY Jurassic Park Ring: Made From Dinosaur Bone, Meteorite, Petrified Wood, and Titanium
In honor of the NEW Jurassic Park movie coming out today, we decided to use some VERY ancient materials such as real fossilized Dinosaur Bone, Meteorite, and Petrified Wood in order to create one of the most unique rings you will EVER see! We show the process from start to finish! Check it out!

Been a jeweler for over 12 years and always love watching how other people work. Great job and great video you've shared. I've subscribed!
This dude just combined 3 of my passions into a ring
Quality content as always
This is a great step by step look into what and why you are doing things during the creation of the ring. I really liked your voice over style here. Glad you did that collaboration with Patrick again so I found your channel!

Jen Ford glad it could give you some insight!! Hopefully we can keep creating videos like this for wonderful fans like you!
It's a good thing I have tons of dinosaur bones and meteorites on hand or this DIY would've been pretty difficult to do.
This looks incredible! I’d wear that for sure. 👏🏻
Okay, lots of questions for you, hope you don't mind. I like the cuts you got. Obviously when we buy the materials I've always bought thick to block or even fist size pieces. What is your method for cutting these down to the width you want in your rings or do you just contract out a local water jet company? Most I've found don't want to work with small projects like this is why I ask.
Well done!! I have ask what you were using on your lathe that held the bar from the outside of the ring? The ring looks awesome!!
What size diamond grinding wheel is that and where did you find it? I've only used dremel size bits but that's a nice looking piece.
Regarding your prefrance on a 2 part epoxy, what do you use and why do you prefer that over CA glue where you can control the thickness of the glue itself ie. super thin, medium and thick? It's what I've used and makes my rings look like glass but always ready to be schooled by learning better ways of doing things.
By the way *"Wicked Cool Intro"*
Juste une vidéo incroyable ! Tu mérites tellement plus de vue, continue comme ça 👌🏻 Awesome video kee going like that you make an incredible work

Thanks for being one of our loyalest supporters!
and yet another question (WOW, What a wealth of information here, thank you!): I see you use Nitric Acid / Alcohol (what ratio?). I typically use Ferric Chloride so do you find the Nitric Acid works better and I'm assuming you don't have any problems with it eating away the polish you just put on the bone and wood where as I'm pretty sure my choice of Ferric Chloride would stain both some. I've made a ring nearly identical and would love to show you pictures but reluctant putting the link on your channel as I don't want you or anyone else thinking I'm trying to spam your channel. I'm truly amazed at your work!
Thank you for sharing this man, absolutely awesome! I was always told that titanium combusts when its machined but you didn't seem to have any problem there! Is that just hear say??

Zebrano Wood Craft thanks for watching man! Yah, if it gets really hot it can combust. If you take a flame to the chips they’ll immediately ignite! It’s not as bad as Zirconium though. That stuff can be nasty if you don’t use coolant (I almost set my shop on fire the first time I used it! 😬)
