In this diy jean jacket, no sew, do it yourself thrift flip denim jacket upcycle tutorial, I will show you how to take an old denim shirt jacket and use fabric glue, Heat n Bond, and trim to make beautiful boho style art jacket that is a one of a kind.

Thank you for sharing your technique! I am wanting to upcycle some Jean jackets that I also got form the Goodwill Bins with some vintage quilt pieces and this was so helpful! I think I want to order that fusable interfacing to use in my project too!

When using any fabric glue, it is a good idea to weigh it down as it dries, just use a heavy book or anything at hand.

Why glue? Is the E6000 Is a permanent glue like it won't wash off?

I think not.don’t know how the t-shirt pach will hold up but I do know that the glue used on the ribbon will only last for one or two washes
I like it, but I don't like raw edges. I would have used the silver trim on the edges of the collar, pockets, and cuffs in addition to the sheer fabric to give it more continuity.
