Fucking hell i have been waiting to find the real armor. I am sick and tired of cosplayers who buy from zentai zone or wherever and people start appreciating that horrible suit. This is what i have wanted why has no one actually made the armor. Finally the first cosplayer to do something like this. Thank you bro

I have to say, lot of work, but looks amazing! Only thing I wouldn't do is the eyes in the light. I'd keep them normal so I can have the mask on, and see without issue...or just put the led around the lense

Every vinyl flooring I can find has a weird line texture that doesn’t look too great. How did you get it to be so smooth?

I had a smooth texture, perhaps try sanding it down lightly and apply a few more extra layers of Plastic-Dip/spray paint

I really wish Marvel didn't go with a mo-cap suit for Spidey. If a regular cosplayer can make something like *this,* then a Multi-billion dollar company could manage something like this. The CGI wasn't bad, it was still phenomenal. It's just the fact that there wasn't a physical suit on set that takes away from what Marvel did in the very beginning, bringing these comic book characters to life in a realistic way. While the Iron Spider suit was *brought* to life on-screen, it didn't exactly *come* to life in the creation of the movies

Can you see trhu the eyes?

That's so good, how can you wash the suit though? Might consider doing the same method as yours.

you may be able to hand soak it or just scrub the inside of the suit and then air dry it. Let me know how it goes!

I just used super glue but you can test different fabric glues or what your location stores have to offer

I got the suit on eBay from china, they are normally all the same from different sellers, I agree the quality is not the greatest

hey man great work !! .. im working on it i have a Q .. when u r tracing the pattern does u were the suit or what? cuz when i trace the pattern and then wear the suit to glue it on i found that my pattern is smaller than the actual suit cuz the fabric stretches u know ? so what do u think ?

Hello, im pretty sure I didnt wear the suit doing it, but to solve your problem, you could trace it without the suit and just enlarge it a few millimetres to fit the suit when worn. I did this because it was a bit difficult as you said to trace while wearing the suit. I hope this helps!

I imagine thin foam may get a similar but different result than vinyl flooring as foam has a matte finish and different texture, whereas vinyl flooring has a shiny base to work from and has a smoother texture. Also foam may leave creases as foam is more flexible and can absorb more impact leaving wrinkles, but I would be interested if you try foam instead!

I wouldn't recommend washing it after applying the flooring however you could maybe hand rinse the important areas such as the underarms with warm water perhaps
