Oh man, this is genius! If someone wanted to make the Gauntlet itself, now they can just do this, or, replace the lights with magnets and glue magnets to the gauntlet so that the stones snap onto it! :D

Can i use salt instead if alum?

Salt may not have as effective results compared to Alum, but it may be possible. Maybe experiment and get back to me, I would love to know!

itsHotchPotch I had a bit of alum. So for one stone i used it . For rest i used salt. Its 12 hours since i did the crystals and it didn't change. There are no crystals there yet. Should this be like that ?

MatyBebe-_- when testing, my best results were from boiling hot water and use enough alum That makes the water murky after stirring :)

itsHotchPotch So hot water. Put salt or alum in to water with color and that's it? Just then wait?

MatyBebe-_- yep, just make sure you add enough salt/alum, if it doesn't work try again with a higher concentration
