DIY IKEA Hack - Green Tarva Dresser (+ How To Paint IKEA Wood Furniture)
Upgrading IKEA furniture is a very popular way to get a personalized look on a budget. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple DIY project to transform a basic piece into something that would otherwise cost thousands of dollars.
In this video, I’ll go through a step by step guide on how I transformed this raw pine drawer, and some useful tips when painting a solid wood IKEA furniture.

I'm amazed you found an ikea piece that's made of solid wood. Most things are just pressboard with a layer on it and harder to upcycle. Nice work, btw, the color is very beautiful!

Yeah, most are particleboards, but they do have a few hidden gems that are made of solid wood.

Just a quick question can I use the same spray primer but liquid as my base primer? I'm trying to give a new color to a few Ikea and Walmart laminated furniture and I accidentally started my project without most of my materials (I rushed to make it happen I need a change of colors desperately)
If you were to do it again, would you include soft close drawers and paint the inside?
Nice! I have an Ikea Ingo table that I would like to convert into an office desk. According to Ikea i just need to paint it as it's already treated. Do you think it still needs to be prepped ?
I would need to sand indoor also. does it spit out dust everywhere? sanding?

Used the Zinsser Bin Shellac Primer - I think they're one of the best for these type of things.

How did you know that this dresser is a IKEA ? How to find IKEA Products easily in fb markets or any other local markets? Can you suggest some one places to find IKEA second hand products? What all things to consider when we r buying products from these places?
