    Great job on this video ! The advice to use two spark plug sockets, one with and one without the ring is brilliant, keeping plugs from damage and keeping tools and plugs from getting hopelessly stuck in the hole.

    Good job! I use a small piece of pladtic or rubber tubing to seat the plug. You can feel it threading and there's no chance of cross threading cause the tubing will just slip. Cross threading a plug is a freaking expensive nightmare!

    'the car feels heavy" that's exactly what it feels like when a spark plug is misfiring or random misfiring, (DTC 0303, 01/02) from third cylinder. yes, lack of power and poor gas mileage. Love your videos thank you sir!

    @@BulletSolano Looking for vacc leaks like you said. One thing i found is that one of the small lines (there are two right next to each other)that feeds from the main air intake seems to be kinda loose. It looks like it is or was sealed with some kind of black tar adhesive where it attaches to the big thick air intake tube. That "tar" looks like it has gotten loose and gooey and the connection point seems loose. I wonder if that tar needs to be stripped off with mineral spirits and reapplied.....

    Would it be 13 lbs of torque for honda accord 2002? Also THANK YOU, your videos have saved me multiple times. Just did the downstream o2 sensor yesterday. My honda for some reason when I come to a stop everytime lots of white smoke from exhaust when I go to accelerate. I've been dealing with this for months and can't figure it out.

  • @BulletSolano

    @BulletSolano

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yes is the same 13 lbs, if is too cold white smoke is gonna come out, is vapor, but if you see white smoke with a little blue tint in it, your piston rings are fried, and you’re gonna need an engine really soon

  • @mykesmith5177

    @mykesmith5177

    No its not from cold start it happens repeatedly right when I start car and at ever light when I accelerate. I haven't checked piston rings. But this all started happening about 10 months ago right after I changed my oil. I should also mention I have an oil leak. Could it be oil burning?

    I have an issue with the spark plug on the second cylinder. 1,3, and 4 I was able eto remove and replace with new plugs. But on the second cylinder plug, it catches with the rubber but it just turns in both directions, it seems I cannot tighten or loosen the plugs as once is it caught with the rubber inside the 5/8, it spins pretty freely with no resistance. Had never changed the plugs on this car since I've had it. I'm wondering if the thread is bad on the plug and is not catching the metal. Has anyone had an issue like this? Maybe the plug is broken itself inside. Also I notice with the rubber it does get stuck and I remove it with a needle nose plier. I cannot tighten it as well as it spins just as freely clockwise, just as counter clockwise
