Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have had problems with the middle sinking too. Should I start 20 mintes from when oven reaches 150 or 20 minutes from putting the piece into a cold oven? Thank you for your help

Valerie Anderson She has said she starts from a cold oven, if that helps.
Love your videos! Can I ask what it is you use to texture our back piece? Ive seen you use a blue mesh thing but not sure how to find one and I love the texture you get from it! Thanks so much for posting these wonderful videos!!

I have a question, did you pierce a hole on the pendant for the hot air to scape duiring the baking?

I would make a hole yes. It looks like the lady sadly doesn't answer questions but this may be because of translation problems? :(

Susan Rose Art Perhaps the lady is overwhelmed with unnecessary questions. If a hole was needed she would have mentioned it in the video I’m sure.
Hi! You are a very talented artist! I tried this technique and when I took it out of the oven, in a few minutes the center collapsed. Any thoughts on what I may have done wrong? I would appreciate your help. I am going to become a patron this month. I love your videos! Thank You.

Hi, Beverly! At first, about baking ->> I bake 20 min at 140-150"C.. start from cold oven - I put items in cold oven and set 150... but when I see that my thermometer already shot 150'C - I make 140"C With hollow beads, you can't cool them quickly! It's about cold and hot air ;) when heated, the air expands! And during the cooling - is compressed! But if you leave your pieces in the oven and let it cool down slowly - I think everything will be fine! The 2nd thing what can be happened - your work pieces had hole, or clay layers are not tightly stuck together and when the hot air start to expand - your work pieces just opened! I hope I answered your question clearly and you will find a solution to your problem! ^_^

How thick is the veneer. Im trying this with kato clay, and when I get it thin enough to shape through the template, I find I tear the veneers.
@SweetyBijouPro
4 ай бұрын
Well, it shouldn’t be too thin, its around1.5-2mm Use set#3 of the pasta machine for your back layer. In result it should be thickness around set# 1or2 of your pasta machine.
@user-nm7pr4zo2l
4 ай бұрын
@SweetyBijouPro Thank you, I tried it much thicker #3 on my pasta machine and worked it slowly so it wouldn't crack and I had good results. The video was also very helpful with getting the bead out from the template. I love your work. You are such an inspiration.

Dear Jeal! Try to take them with gratitude to me! You need my knowledge, I need your "Likes"! If you do not like them, just do not watch videos anymore!
@SweetyBijouPro

If you knew, or at least thinking over how many times I answering on the questions from all viewers.. and spend my own time for this.. Where to buy, what is the name of this or how to create one or that, and a lot of other questions, you would not ask me to change anything in my videos! And would be grateful to click on Like to thank.
@jaelthorp2314

You know, I clicked on like before I made the above comment. I am even subscribed to your channel. My goal was simply to let you know that the persistent requests for "likes" was taking away from the video. You seemed to want to know why someone would click "not like", so I thought you would appreciate the information. If you would prefer that I unsubscribe, I can do that. But perhaps instead you could simply say "thank you for your input" and leave it at that.

@@jaelthorp2314 it's 2 years since u wrote this but I have to say something. u must not know how people's KZread channels work, the likes aren't all for an ego boost. Imagine how much we would have to pay for these tutorials if these artists didn't share their knowledge, so a few reminders to hit like if u enjoyed it is all we have to show how grateful we are & to keep this channel going. This comment isn't said in anger or nastiness either it's to hopefully let u understand a bit more
At the end of your video you showed a glimpse if something that looked like honeycomb, what was that?

Good video but I would rather hear you explaining your steps than irritating music.
