method:-
STEP 1 MOLDING POWDER
1. Take a suitable plastic container where your hand/feet cane be fitted.
2. Add molding powder in water altogether with 1:2 proportion (powder/water ratio =1:2.e , 1 cup of molding powder 2 cup of water).
3. Mix the molding powder and water altogether thoroughly with steel spoon spatula or preferably with electric hand beater machine for 30 to 35 sec at normal room temperature water (IF YOU WANT TO INCREASE THE MIXING TIME USE COLD WATER AT 20 DEGREE TEMPERATURE, THIS WILL GIVEN MIXING TIME 50 TO 60 SEC. USE DRINKING WATER ONLY .
when you mix manually with spoon or spatula mixture will have small lumps that's ok you can still cast with small lumps, just avoid big lumps. )
4. put hand/feet immediately into mixture after blending. keep your hands/feet stable for approx 2 minutes till it is set.
5. when the surface becomes hard slowly wriggle your hands and allow little air to get in, now slowly remove your hand/feet from mixture.
NOW THE MOLD ID READY FOR CASTING.
STEP 2 CASTING POWDER-
1 Mix casting powder and water in a plastic bowl for 45 to 60 sec. ( 100gm of casting powder with 25 to 30 ml. water) consistency should not be too thin or too thick, it should be medium consistency for E.g. , like dosa or cake batter flowing consistency.
2. fill the mixture in the mold and tap the side of container to get rid of air bubbles.
3. allow it to set for 2 to 4 hrs. to imprint cast in the mold.
4 Gently remove the imprint Cast from the mold and let it dry for 30 min and then start doing finishing work.
APPLY BABY OIL ON HAND/FEET BEFORE DIPPING YOUR HAND/FEET IN MOLDING MIXTURE.
