Yes we use them for pattern to manufacture repair sections

i have been waiting 11 years to understand and figure out how the hell these windows are assembled. Now I would like to see the finished product and how the base of the glass is mounted at the base - thank you for this videp.

I have a 73 with windows from a model with the pop pit feature is there a way to adjust the glass so it closes completely?

Nice video! One question, how is the quarter pillar attached to the glas? Is it supposed to be glued or just squeezed in place?

Hi Viktor, thanks for your question. We find it best to use a form of adhesive/sealant as we use anodised parts and don't want to risk fracturing the finish... That being said, anything from good strength double-sided tape to tiger sealant can be used to secure it.

My 72 was very different. I guess this is for early cars.

Where did you get the molded quarter window seal? I can only find non-molded options at J bugs and other places.

not a great demo....should have installed in the car rather than talking about the various items....

thanks for the feedback, however we have a video coming shortly showing the installation of the components on to the car. the idea of this particular video was to show where the items fitted rather than fit them. that is in the next one

@@CalifornianClassics fair enough, the title of the video should read components required to install a quarter window unit for 60-71. The video is misleading IMO. Look forward to seeing the installation of the quarter window as I know there are a few people interested. I did the installation in my car a few years ago and I took a fair bit of time to get everyone right.
