Hey y’all! This was my first time doing a perm on my own hair and I think I did a good job. As a kid, box perms used to burn my scalp and leave scabs. Thankfully, we are scab free this time! After this success story, I think I can call myself a hairstylist.

Is this relaxer a no base?

I believe so. I was trying to find “no base” on the bottle but couldn’t. I didn’t mix it with anything just straight from the container to my hair with just Vaseline around the perimeter.
Naturalizing shampoo?

I meant to say neutralizing shampoo. Now I’m not sure exactly what it does but it’s what I saw people use in my research
