    But what are the slats made of? For those who use furniture paint, you need a little extra room for the thickness of the paint on the slats, so include that when you measure for the spaces for individual mirrors.

    Thank you for this tip in the comments! Love it! The slats themselves are linked in the description along with the rest of the materials I used, the Home Depot description describes is as “Woodgrain Millwork 1/4 in. x 1-1/2 in. WM 2661 Primed Finger-Jointed Lattice Moulding is one of the most common and versatile moulding patterns. Primed Finger-Jointed WM 2661 Lattice moulding can be used to cover seams in wall paneling. Lattice can be also be used in many craft projects”

    For the outer frame you have attached the trims on top of the plywood to create frame, did you cover the sides of the plywood with anything or did you just save and paint it, if so then doesn’t the plywood sheets show up from the sides

  • @DesignedbySmashley

    @DesignedbySmashley

    Жыл бұрын

    Oh this is such a good question! I did not end up covering the plywood on the sides and ultimately just spray painted it, to me it’s really not that noticeable but if you’re wanting a more finished look you can look into adding some Wood veneer strips!
