omg i LOVE this toner and i'm so excited to see you making a diy version. i have pretty sensitive skin too, but this toner is one of my favorites and surprisingly doesn't burn when i use it. I've tried duping it myself before but it came out more sticky than i liked, I will definitely give your formula a try~

My favourite PHA ingredient is Lactobionic Acid. It has more efficacy. As for Vetiver (wet-ey-ver) is a root that is native to India, we use its roots as a coolant for syrups and for fragrance, got its syrup is divine when Summers come over.

@@TaraLeee yes, it smells divine. 2 generations back, people would make their curtain like pads for keeping them near windows and wetting them so, everytime there was hot air, it would coop down and the house went fragrant. I use it to even make my own masala sometimes, I add to my teas when it's too hot, I even use it as a flavor enhancer in curries. It's a game changer. Btw, Tara your skin is gleaming. I think we need a comprehensive video of your skincare day and night. Thanks.

This is something really different and loving dupes but this toner is filled with bunch of extracts I would doubt which work and don't work and this much extracts probably I don't have will try with extracts I have and really different version of salicylic acid is really new and learned from you sister. i think the ingredient in question is an aromochemical a vetiver one specifically, so in the second list it would be included in the "parfum"

Is gluconolactone same as glucon delta lactone? And what do tou think can i add sodium lactate in this toner? Because it can increase ph , will gluconolactone crystalize with ph 6? And can i add niacinamide as well?

Is it possible to do same as Clinique blended face powder

What is the ingredient that make the toner glowing you didn’t add it so it seems like any other toner

you made it? so neat! i’ve never made my own extract. is it hard? love carrot seed oil, so i’ll keep this in mind but you could use salicylic or glycolic, just make sure you adjust the ph.

because the watermelon isn’t what helps the skin with an even complexion. that’s the pha and bha

I think the pink color or slightly pink might be from strawberry extract

But it has willow bark extract in it and that is salicin and your body turns that into salicylic acid

Also, may you tell us why a low PH is bad?

tara, i hate having to say this, but i dont think it right or very nice. that old lady who has a soap channel. made a comparison vid of your scrub and then hers, and then proceeded to point out why yours is not a good one? i have never seen a diy channel like hers? bashing someone else in the field. how unprofessional. oh yea she soap chef i assume that u know, am teling you this cuz i think she is nasty, and i wont be watching her channel anymore. making stuff is great, but bashing is not! stay in your own lane!
