Do I have to etch it? What would happen if I skipped that step?.

Hi Rachel! No you don't have to do the etching at all. The vase would a little more translucent if you skip that step. Thanks for asking a question and thanks so much for watching!

Do you have trouble with the mod podge slipping off the glass. It did with my project. Please do seed beads for us. Thank you 🙏💕💕. Marie

Marie id all depends. I try to lay the vase or whatever on it side and work in sections. It also seems slide yes when I use a brush instead of a foam applicator. The seed bead are coming back for the next video!💌💌

What does the etching cream do?

Hi there Jasmain! I'm so sorry I'm just getting back you. I missed your question. So the cream will give you a frosted surface. I am going to be doing some Christmas glasses shortly that will also use etch cream. If you wanted to you can put a sticker like a monogram on the vase and then after you rinse the cream off you will see the monogram. I hopefully answered your question. Hi Caroline!! Happy New Years to you. So the etching cream frosts the outer surface of glass. When I did this vase I wanted it to have more of frosted look then the typical clear look. I used the cream on glasses all the time that I want to give that frosted look to as well. Its an easy way to get a high end look with out spending much money.
