    Oh my, how cute is that?! I just bought a cork board from the Container Store that is practical but not as cute as the one you just made and I'm sure more expensive too. =(

    love this idea.. but I have some questions... 1. where did you get the frame and the cork? 2. how much did you spend on them? 3. what kinda spray paint? gloss? 4. how did you know that the thickness of the cork was going to fit? Lots of questions.. sorry but I would really like to do this... TY!!

    Frame: Amazon, Spend: not sure as it was about two years ago; Paint; it was actually a matte finish. Thickness-- I didn't. Fitting it was the most challenge part. Just have to choose the cork that is about 1/4" thick or less so it is similar thickness to glass that slides in the frame normally.

    how thick was the cork board? or does it matter?

  • @thedivinehostess

    @thedivinehostess

    Tiffany Tenn it definitely matters. It needs to be thick enough for pins to stick in, but not so thick thay it no longer slides into the frame. Something close to the thickness of the glass that originally comes with that frame. Hope this helps!

    The Divine Hostess ohh ok .. i bought a cork board but it seems sorta thin... so i wasn't sure if it would be good framed or i should just glue them together lol

    What thickness cork sheet is best?

  • @thedivinehostess

    @thedivinehostess

    4 жыл бұрын

    I think I used 1/8”. If it’s too thick, it will be hard to close the frame back. Depends on the type of frame you choose.

    @@thedivinehostess alot of pin backs are about 3\8 long. I was looking at 1\2 cork sheet but that seems to thick and 3\8 is a bit hard to find.

    The 3/8 one would be at a craft store, but I am not sure where you are located. Good luck!
