What we need: - 72 in X 30 in cut of plywood with maple veneer (table top) - Tape measurer - Trim measured appropriate length for edges (table top) - TWO 12 in X 1 in X [24 in??] cuts of oak wood (table legs) - FOUR heavy, steel, L-shaped shelf brackets (from online) with appropriate screws (table legs) - Power drill - Nail gun or wood glue - Feed-n-wax polish (for table-top finish) - Rag Viola! Can't want to try this!

Seriously considering this as my first dining room set. Instead, it would paint the table a light mint and lay a black/white rug, with blush-colored cushions.

I made something similar using one pine board. One piece for the tabletop, two pieces for the legs that fold so it can slide under my couch when I'm not using it.

Love this soo much!!

I feel like this would be great for Montessori parenting.

Japanese low table is much better than a huge western table because I can push it to the side when we are not eating and that way i have much more space in my living Room

12 inch height seems so low with them sitting on it. But i’ve been measuring and remeasuring and trying different inches, and 12 inches is perfect for me 🤣
