Nice video, our mouse had an issue where the click would not register the hold down after a couple of seconds.

hi, thanks for this video, i have the same problem with my anywere mx (1 i thnink) but the microswitch has a blue button (omron) do u have any idea about the type ? (i read 45K on the side )

Hi! I don't own the original Logitech MX mouse, but it seems to be omron D2LS according to this IFixit guide: www.ifixit.com/Guide/Logitech+Anywhere+Mouse+MX+Micro+Switch+Replacement/10243 I hope it helps! Sincerely, Jakob

@@jakob3861 i found it at aliexpress (ali baba) from China, and already ordered it. They have the same Onron Switch, for 10, 20 or 50 millions operations. I'm waiting the 50 millions. I hope i had ordered the right one

Hello, i changed the switch, which works well now. However i can‘t scroll anymore and the battery doesnt work. Do you have any idea, what i did wrong?

Thanks for your question. I'm sorry to hear, that you are struggling to get it to work properly. Getting all the pieces from the scroll wheel together in the right way can be a little fiddly. Try again and take your time and you will get it right! Regarding the battery I suspect it could be a broken solderpoint between the connector and the printboard - it takes quite some force to remove the battery connector. Try heating the solderpoints to mend it and inspect the wires too while you are at it. Hope this helps!

Would using other switches affect the use of the mouse? Mine now only blinks the bottom light once and will only work while connected via usb

@@jakob3861 thanks, it’s really weird how I unplugged it for a few minutes to replace the switches and now the battery will not work. Upgraded the buttons but downgraded it to a wired mouse as it only works with usb now 😂

​@@HONjramiroz98 Yes that's ironic! Hope you can 'un-wire' it again somehow. Maybe you could take it apart to ensure that the battery connector is correctly seated and the battery leads seems ok. Check that the red wire are in the correct place as well 🙂

@@jakob3861 mine is the 2s so it doesn’t have the red wire like that, it’s weird I played all I could with the battery but nothing worked

hey im a bit late, bt if u see closely there is a bridge near the antena, you have to place a drop o tin solder on it for it to work, else the antena is disconected and u cant use it wireless

Would you ever consider repairing one for someone else? I have 2 of them that the left button doesn't function correctly.. you have to force down to work.

@@richmadrid9563wd40 is not a lubricant (can be temporal though) it stands for water displacement. It works as degreaser
