This is such a cool idea. I like how you used fabric so you could put speakers behind it. Also the LED light strip that goes around the edge adds another cool look to it. I wanted to put LED strips around my ceiling but never liked how they looked when you could see the LED’s. This way you just see the glow with the bonus of the fiber optic. This is definitely my favorite version of this. Very cool!

Hey Kedrick Nice Build Brother!! This is exactly what I am in the process of doing. The only difference is I cant Mount anything to the ceiling because I am renting a house. So I have decided to build a PVC frame all the way around my game room. And I am going to put black fabric all over the walls and ceiling. I'm glad I ran across your video cuz now I purchased the same star kit that you posted in your description. Thanks man I appreciate it. Also I wasn't sure what kind of fabric to get from the fabric store but I believe I'm just going to order the black sheets that you have in your description 👍🏻. Looks like tedious time to put all those fiber optic cables in LOL. Why did you cut it a quarter inch from the material and not any closer? I subscribed and headed over to check out more of your content. Great editing as well!! 😉
@KedrickFoster
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man I appreciate that! That's sounds like I cool idea! Post a video when your done! I would love to see it! You could cut closer but cutting it a quarter inch just makes the stars seem slightly larger.

That was a really cool project Kendrick! The stars are really stellar........anyway. Never seen that. I've interned with some studio and observed a few panel builds with led but I've noticed that wiring is usually a pain. With it being very noticeable or hard not to plug into along with audio hardware. I'd love to make this idea with acoustic panels but the fiber optic cable running through the ceiling light. Quickly went over my head. Is it possible to make a lighter and duplicable construction(s) for this? Say for a diy treatment of acoustic panels with fabric, Owens 703, and the fiber optic? I'd love to incorporate this project to my portable/home studio apartment or something down the line when hopefully running my own studio build. Congrats on a successful build man, it's gorgeous and striking. StarStruck!
@KedrickFoster

You absolutely could do that. It would probably just take a little extra time sticking the fiber optic the the acoustic foam but it's definitely doable
