Lisa, I just love that little corner you showed of your store and all the items in it. What a good idea to put that there and hope you show it to us again after your husband adds his touch to it. It’s just charming and so representative of the life I grew up in with Daddy’s old truck and other farm items around. I came along after my folks thought they were through having their family, Mama went off to the factory, and I hung around with Daddy, so these items are near and dear. Thanks for sharing and bringing back some old, old memories. God bless!

Love it Lisa. The redo’s are so nice and will make the area for your husband truly nice. 😊❤. Had a wonderful Christmas but today was very special because we had a small family get together at a restaurant. My oldest brother turns 90 on January 1st and the youngest brother and baby of the family has a birthday on the 9th. It was so nice to be together. Back to the regular routines now. Hugs😊❤

So glad you had a Very, Merry Christmas. The City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi lines some of their streets with white paper pages with candles and sand on a certain date each year. This has been going on as long as I can remember. I think it occurs on DECEMBER 1 (Advent?). People from all over walk the streets and visits were the property owners. The property owners give out small bags of candy or a cookie or muffin or cupcake with hot chocolate or cider. It has been a longtime since I attended, I don’t know if they still give out the treats anymore because it got so big. Maybe candy canes.

Hello Lisa! Enjoyed this video and ideas. Also, I noticed the gorgeous hornets nest in that section. Did you guys find that or is it store bought.
