Zep mold stain mildew stain remover will clean the umbrella. Spray it and let it sit. This stuff is the truth! I even use it on our porch sidewalks. Bathroom, etc. It works. A deck would be lovely 😊 Add fertilizer to your clearance plants. This brings them back to life.😊

You could totally have Marcus build a cover with adequate spacing for air flow for the heater out there, but make it a planter box. I saw it on an Aussie remodeling show. Or make it like a butcher block top for outdoor counter space/ bar. ❤ another great video. The music is always soothing and you’re always joyous. God bless!

Who raised Marcus? Helpful home owner and husband. Most men work on the outside and nothing on the inside. Marcus works with you inside and outside. He’s a keeper!

I would leave the heater alone- build a cabinet around it and paint that white. I think a concrete deck will last longer than wood. Love the updates being done around the house.

@@YoungLadyBusiness You could try a concrete paver patio! That's what we did when we ripped up our old wood deck. Lumber adds up quickly too so instead of concrete, we put down concrete pavers until we can save up for that composite decking. They're only a few bucks per paver. Also, you already have the gravel layer so you're halfway there with the paver patio. Just make sure to pay for the GOOD polymeric sand that seals the cracks after you spray it down. Regular sand isn't good enough imo. We can sweep our patio and it's a much more solid foundation for furniture and the grill. Just an idea!

Trex decking last as well. No upkeep. Wood you just have to seal every year and you won’t have to worry about rot.

@@Morethanjustflips Trex is soo expensive but the best. My in-laws just replaced their rotten deck with Trex and it looks amazing. I think they paid like $15k lol. (They paid someone to do it though)

Love how you and your husband come together and have beautiful ideas for the home. And I'm definitely going to try to squeeze a summer party with the girls and their daughters

Great job! Marcus with his great carpentry skills, can build a box to cover the heater with mini-doors (of course so you can access it) and then you can paint it to match the area or you can even paint some art on it. Addl note: Love the ladies luncheon. The decorations were beautiful and the food looked good!

Kayla, this was an awesome video. I absolutely loved the party theme and food creativity. Your table setting was stunning.

Always such a beautiful job and it’s lovely to see the consistency of a couple, both contributing to the beauty of your spaces. I found your channel when you were looking for a home and you keep showing how much you appreciate God blessing you with this home. Consider an enclosure for the water heater. Maybe it can resemble some of the features of your shed.

Hi Kayla, everything looks wonderful. The pots and plants are beautiful. The yard reminds me of the "Secret Garden ", movie. My mom had a outdoor heater. She closed it up and diy it to look like a cute little house. Love the inspiration you share. ♥ The party 🎉 gathering was simply beautiful. Your dress and the hat was very Elegant and English. I’m just awe-struck. The transformation was absolutely incredible. I was just smiling as if I was hosting this myself. The decor was my favorite part, next to the food prepping. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂❤❤❤ You guys have outdone yourselves, you should be very proud.. I soooo felt your frustration with that spray protector, girl…!!!!! Try using a baking soda, vinegar, dawn dish soap, paste and let it sit about 15 minutes on your umbrella. I have one that’s thinner, and a tad smaller than yours but it worked miracles for me. That water heater can either be painted or enclosed with a cute glass door to match the patio door. I truly enjoyed your content! Bless you both!!

For the hot water heater build a cabinet around it with shelves on the bottom....I suggest using the same type of boar and batten as the home ....hope this makes sense ..Love you and Marcus

I love the summer party you had with your friends and sister! All of the flowers, decor and food were beautiful 😃 My daughter and I did something similar for the family, but it was a tea party with a similar cottage core theme…all her idea☺️

I like the idea of a box to enclose the water heater and a deck for the area as well! Your awesome husband would make it all look great!!!

A trick to planting a big pot remove the plant and use the plastic pot to see where you need to fill with soil. Then remove the plastic pot and your plant will fit right in and look amazing. I would cover the water heater. Marcus can build a box easily, and you could paint and decorate. If it needs ventilation cut slots but tack screen wire on the inside to prevent insects from making it their chateau. Love your pretty grey and white plaid pillow covers. Party theme was so sweet and your food looked delicious. Beautiful presentation Kayla.

Maybe build a wooden cabinet around the water heater? maybe one with louver doors or a louver door - I believe in you as a designer & Marcus as a carpenter = y'all will figure something cute out!! Or maybe thrift some type of shelf cabinet or such & flip it to work for you?!!

I personally take my patio umbrella down and store it in the cloth bag it comes in when I'm not in my yard it's really easy to take apart and take down 🤍

Marcus idea of adding a deck is a great idea. It will be easy to clean and maintain. For the water heater, Marcus could build a box with a door. The box can be stained the same color as the shelves, and you can also add a vine plant. For the strawberry plant, add some kind of protection because the birds will eat all your strawberries. I love your party. It made me wanna hosy my own, but I don't have the space for it.

For the water heater, maybe you can get Marcus to build an enclosure for it. That way you can still have access to it. Something like 2 doors on the front of it. I have really enjoyed watching you Marcus fix up the house. 💕xx.

For your umbrella, I suggest a 50/50 bleach and water. The stuff that is growing is not mildew it is moss. I too, live in Georgia and some years it's worse than others. I have never had any fading with my outdoor fabric.
