That filler is a polyester filler, epoxy resin does not smell. On the subject of that filler why do you waste so much money on buying that filler when you could get a larger tub of automotive filler for £25 and the only difference between them is that the wood filler has a dye in it, which if you are that worried about you could buy some dye online and still save money, I get that its the customer paying for it at the end of the day but still could be a way to make a little extra profit or lower the bill by a few £ depending on what you want.

@@CPCarpentry2022 yes sorry i never meant that to sound nasty buddy. Most of the U-pol fillers are good along buddy so U-pol Fantastic, U-pol smooth 7 and U-pol Easy 1 are what i would use the most. U-pol Easy 1 has larger solids in it so is best suited for filling deeper holes like you did in this video (its more like the wood filler) Smooth 7 and Fantastic have smaller solids in so are good for filling deep and small holes although to fill a deep hole you might have to fill twice or over fill a little. The U-pol filler i find lets you work it more before it starts to drag. I am unsure if you are aware or not but this type of filler and the wood filler is not waterproof buddy so have to be careful where you use it, if you need to use it outside you can mix it with fiberglass filler or fiberglass polyester resin and the polyester resins in that are waterproof which in turn makes the filler waterproof. You can also thin the filler with Cellulose Thinners to give more working time before it starts to drag and also helps the filler level out by itself

@@rossl2544 I’m a tradie mate nothing bothers me 😂👍🏻 your cool 💙, I respect anyone who wants to call me out on something, because if nobody ever says anything to us then we never realise the mistakes we make, (the person who thinks they have all the answers will never learn anything new or progress in life) 👍🏻 never to old to learn something new

Instead of filling the mdf with wood filler why didn’t you just turn the board over and start again
