In this video i show how i made our Walnut Kitchen Countertop. This is an edge grained counter top so the process is a bit involved, but is not impossible to achive for the DIYer.

Hey, I saw your channel was linked to ICTH Productions. I'm assuming you were part of it. Just wanna say I watched one of the videos and oh boy, the nostalgia. I and everyone else loved those videos, even saw Stonemountain64 comment on one of them years ago! You guys help gave him some ideas! Just wanna say thank you for all the memories and nostalgia. Will definitely continue to reminisce.

Just a tip, plan your boards before ripping them down on the table saw, it'll save you from having to pass so many small pieces through individually

Yeah in hindsight that probably wouldve saved some time. It still worked out fine in the end, but ya solid tip none the less.

Wow great job - a lot of work! Curious why you didn't roll the glue out? (I guess it still worked well)

I was pressed to get all the pieces together before the glue started to set. You could definitely roll the glue out, but I just rubbed the wood together to spread the glue around which worked just fine.

Great job - inspiring. Do you recall the depth of the lumber you started with? Was it 4/4?

Yes it was 4/4. Maybe a touch thicker than that. But it was classified as 4/4 when I bought it.
