If anyone is looking for the types of knots she’s using here it is: The strings are each tied to the ring using larks head knots. To make the diamond shape: - She splits the cords down the middle to make 2 sections. For each section she uses double half hitch knots starting from the inner 2 cords to the outer cord. - Then she goes back to the inner cord and repeats, leaving out one less cord each time until she has the half diamond shape. - Repeat this process on both sections - Then she goes to the outer most cord of each section and uses double half hitch knots coming back to the middle to finish out the diamond. - place the 1st bead on the 2 middle strings and make the 2nd diamond following the same method above. - The second bead is secured with a square knot Layer of beads - Split it down the middle again and use the inner 4 strings on both sections to create a single square knot about 8 cm down. - Then measure 8 cm down from those knots and create 2 square knots on the outer sections of 4 strings. - Place beads under each of the 4 new knots and secure them with a square knot. First layer of basket - take the center 4 cords and create a square knot 8 cm down from the lowest beads. - Repeat twice using the 4 cords on either side of that knot - You should have 2 strings left on each side. Pull them around to create your final square knot and first layer of the basket 2nd and 3rd layers of basket - so now use alternating square knots separated by 8 cm to create the 2nd layer. - Then repeat for the 3rd layer Tassel - Tie the ends together with a gathering knot. Cut your tassel to be even if you prefer!

If I may add some constructive criticism? I am a complete beginner at macrame and the lack of clear view camera angles, aswell as any slow motion step by steps on HOW you made the knots, did make following along with this incredibly difficult. I must have spent at least 2 hours just trying to figure out how to start the first one to make it look like yours. (I did manage to make them, not as well as yours but I'm happy for a first attempt!) I would be eager to see if you post any more macrame tutorials but hopefully they can be a little slower and more concise in future!

@@mayamukerjee5773 have you tried slowing down the play speed to it's lowest setting? It took me a while but having the pause button and a slow play speed helped quite a bit! Keep trying! You'll get it!

Thank you for this tutorial very cute designs! Just curious though why didn't you (on the first hanger) do the spiral after you did the first part with the existing strings your working with before the second part? Seemed like an extra step to hot glue and have extra strings to add after the fact? I hope you don't mind me asking..

If you could name the knots you use! Each time, maybe just the name when using them so we can just look it up instead of everyone asking you to go slower!😁

This has so many views because people need to keep replaying it... your speed up and hand positions make it so some can't view the knots or strings you're using.
