Christina, I have made two chunky blankets in the past two years, by watching your tutorials and they have turned out beautiful. I made them both by actually following along with the videos (pause and play, on and on). Even though they turned out great, I was always still a little confused about that last stitch (I don't knit or crochet). This video made it all click, and I now feel confident that I can do it all by myself. 😂 You're a wonderful teacher and I look forward to your videos every week. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. Yours is, by far, hands down, my favorite channel. 💖

Rebecca!!!! So happy to hear you were able to make the blankets from my videos!!! Thanks so much for your support!!!! ❤️🙏🎨
I can not tell you how much I appreciate this tutorial!! The way you broke down each step in such a articulate and concise manner made me want to jump up and make a blanket! 😊 I tried to make these last year but none turned out the way I wanted but it wasn’t until I watch this tutorial that I realized the mistakes I was making. I had watched several tutorials trying to figure out what I was doing wrong but just ended up walking away from it. I’m going to dig out my yarn and try again!

This is fun to learn about. I love to knit, and watching this feels like being a miniature elf watching a giant knit. We get to see how the stitches really work. I bet its gonna be so cozy. Your videos are inspiring in creative ways and just importantly in confidence building. I can do this for my home. Thank you.
I thought I’d make a chunky blanket for my granddaughter. I’ve watched 3 videos ( maybe more) and this one is by far the easiest to follow. I appreciate the details and you helping me get through the end of the rows. My fear is it’ll end up being a triangle! This was extremely Helpful. I’ll watch this as I make my little blanket. Thank you. ❤❤❤

The best teacher!! I wish you lived near me to do lessons. I'll be making mine a n d. I'm going to keep your video on while I'm doing it. Thank you. I'm making a King size. I bought 18 sheins,
Thank you for such a simple and easy to follow tutorial, this is the first one that I haven’t felt overwhelmed by and I’m super excited to start my chunky blanket knitting adventure! ❤
I have watched so many chunky blanket tutorials but yours is the only one that I can actually follow enough to think I can do it. Yours makes me brave enough to think about going and buying the balls of yarn to try to out without huge fear of wasting money. I really want to try one for my own home.
This video should be the FIRST one that pops up when you search. Everyone else assumes you have crochet/knit knowledge. You explained it the best and the video was SO clear! Thank you ❤ I can finally start my weighted blanket.
My sister just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and I made a matching blanket for her and him and she absolutely loved them. It was my first time doing a chunky knit blanket so thank you so much for this tutorial.
THANK YOU!! I have tried several times to make one of these blankets but with the way you presented the instructions..I MADE ONE!! 😊 I wish I could upload a photo but it’s GORGEOUS!
I love the ease of making and care of this blanket. I do love chunky blankets and so do my dogs. Give Raphael and Hadley a big hug. Thanks Christina for another great video !!
This was so easy to understand! I appreciate how you go into detail about everything: how many skeins, the actual completed size, the stitch types and how to do them, and also how to care for them. Your voice is very soothing and comforting and it kept my attention on your work. I can’t wait to try this exact one for some gifts for my family this year! So glad I found your channel!! ❤❤
Just finished one of these , first timer, it’s a Xmas present for my brother and his family. Such great instructions. Had a little learning curve but happy with the finished product. Can’t wait to make one for myself

This was VERY helpful for me. I posted a question on a previous video about how you add another skein of yarn into a project and you answered me (thank you) but the visual is always so helpful! I made my first blanket yesterday and it is beautiful! - I am so proud of myself! Thank you!!
I did it! I bought 14 skein of bernat blanket big yarn. I’ve had it in the back seal of my car for a month. I’m going to have to search your blanket tutorials to find the design I fell in love with. I’m thrilled that this video reinforced my choice of jumbo chenille. BTW. I love the boys new haircuts. I have a friend who gave his big black standard boy a flat top ala grace jones. It was the coolest grooming I’ve ever seen on a poodle (the standard pulled it off best).
Thank you sweetie for all the info on the chunky blankets very much appreciated!!!!!! I absolutely am loving the new blanket you made in the video absolutely gorgeous!!!!! Y’all all have a blessed and beautiful day also weekend to!!!! Toodles till next time sweetie ♥️

I'm so glad you did this video. I did a couple of hand crochet afghans but I struggled with how much yarn for a big blanket. I love the big ones that fully cover you and extra left over for fur babies lol I loved them playing at the end...I have one that anytime the wind is whistling or a thunderstorm he must have a thunder vest
Hello Christina. Glad you took a break from all of your hard work and did this fun project instead. You have a way of explaining/teaching that even the slowest student can learn. And i do welcome the doggies' madness. It's the highlight of your videos. Thank you. Have a wonderful week.

Yes Vicki I agree it's therapeutic. I love creating with my hands. Happy Spring. Christina another gorgeous chunky blanket. 🌹🐰
The "2-front, 2-back" way you showed gives prettier results than most other tutorials I've watched. I will attempt this one, even though I've never knitted anything in my life. If I'm going to buy yarn and invest a few hours of my weekend doing this, I want the final product to be as good looking as I can make it. Thank you for the inspiration and the clear instructions. Wish me luck!

Outstanding video! Thank you so much. This is the first video that I have come across, and absolutely happy I did, that is detailed and answered all my questions. You are an outstanding instructor who really cares about her viewers. And it shows in the videos by you patiently explaining everything there is to know about this craft when using chenille yarns. Definitely a fan for life. Can’t wait to watch all your previous and future videos. Love and light always!💙✨!
Thank you for your thorough explanatiions, it’s always a pleasure to watch and listen to your warm voice. Also I adore the way you are with your pets, they are fun to watch !

Christina you make this very clear, I would love to try it, but live in Australia and unfortunately we don’t have economical craft stores over here, ( that I know of) and I’ve been into craft for around 50 years. Excellent instructional video. Christina gives calm, clear instruction without all the usual me! me! blather. Excellent camera work also.
This is exactly what I was looking for, a tutorial for a chunky hand-knit blanket. Thank you. Loved your explanation. Loved your fur babies and where you live with that beautiful view. 🙂
Evening to you Christina, so nice to have you back on screen. The instruction and the advice or suggestions on the various yarns is so important. I agree for every day use as well as for heavy traffic, fourr legged traffic, I think Chenille is the better option. I have to smile, the dogs looking beautiful as always, yet with the hair cuts they just need that extra comfy around the waist. The instructions are very good, and when a beginner why rush, it is a new venture and to enjoy your work, take your time, it will cut out the frustration. The finger knits are so lovely to use in the house, and it is great to be able to wash and dry at home. I prefer my own cleaning stuff, then I also am at ease there will be no allergies coming back from the laundry services. Thank you for showing the animals, it is great to see them and I really enjoy their naughty fooling around. It is only the cat that knows how to behave as she is so sophisticated. Thank you for sharing take care ❤
