    Thank you! I was just asking about leather last nite on my FB group. And used my rotary but would not cut. So bought faux leather and that worked better. But love the iron on and adhesive ideas!! Thanks for sharing!!

    Very timely video, I have been very timid about cutting the earrings. So glad to see a use for adhesive foil, I would not have thought to use it and I have some. Yeah! I have them all planned in My Projects. Thanks for the boost and great info.

    I just now read a lady named Ivy, mentioned that the foil tends to scratch easily, why not seal them, some people use Mod Podge, I do as well, but recently I started using a floor wax as a sealer, wow does it ever work great, I got mine on Amazon at a great price, a 32 oz bottle for only $8.49 the brand is (Lundmark) & it will last a very long time if only using it for jewelry pieces.

Is there a way to salvage these 2 pair? What do I need no do different so this doesn't happen again? Thank you for the video! You make it seem so simple & easy, only to have flubbed my first attempt.

    Just curious: what is the purpose of the Teflon sheet?

  • @suzannelove3063

    @suzannelove3063

    5 жыл бұрын

    The teflon sheet keeps you press clean. When you are working with the iron on sheets, some of the glue can come off on your press, if you don't use the teflon sheet some of the glue may adhere to your press and then come off on a later project. The teflon sheets aren't very expensive and I've been using the same sheets for 4 or 5 years, so they last a long time, I stick a sheet both under and over my work for protection.

    I made some earring today, but they did not cut completely through. I used both rotary blade and regular blade they did not cut through. I even used more pressure. I used faux leather from Hobby Lobby. Is there something else I should do to make them cut through? @@YouCanTotallyMakeThat

    @@YouCanTotallyMakeThat Why did you switch from the cop a dile to the hole punch? Could you possibly provide a link for the hole punch please? :) Also, is there a place we can find the cut file for that tear drop shape?
