Hair stylist here! If you have lighter hair, you can use pure corn starch. For darker hair, corn starch with cocoa powder/cacao works great, but I would probably avoid using cinnamon. It tends to irritate skin and might have some negative side effects in the long run, especially if you have a sensitive scalp! 🖤
I can't wait to try this. I haven't seen anyone else add the cinnamon! Definitely making this tonight, bc I'm also trying to train my hair! It's impossible to do when you're dripping with sweat from your scalp and it's running down every crevis of your body at the gym! But, for the wkend this is hopefully going to help a ton! Thank you so much for sharing! 🤗
As a professional commenter, I agree.
I feel you when you say hair is not supposed to look so greasy so quickly 😅 i trained mine, plus I use professional purifying shampoo, redken, and i use cornstarch before my hair look greasy. I can go 5 days now without washing
Omg its so good to know there is another Kristin out there like me!!!! All through school and even now (33 years old with autism) people still cant say or spell my name properly
Thank you for sharing

You can use just corn starch for light-coloured hair!
