When you spray the rustoleum tinted bed liner , do you thin the paint? Like the claret wine. Keep up the good work and the message.

I used raptor liner when i did the Claret wine color over the rustoleum. I didn't thin any of the raptor liner i have done.

@@2012Rage1yes I have and I recommend using spray paint over the raptor after it’s cured it soaks it up and don’t flake off too. I did one on this channel about 5yrs ago on the Warhawk g35 build I highly recommend checking that video series out.

Thanks and these are just the stock wheels but don’t want them anymore since they are bent or at least one of them in bent and need new tires so might as well just switch them up all together. There is more to come stay tuned 💪🏻

The paint job came out very nice! A billet grille would really bring it out in the front.

When you pulled it in the garage you can see the flakes in the clear nice job. Also the grill inserts should get done in black and maybe the lip. Nice job my friend!!

Yup grill inserts were on the list along with door handles and tow hooks. The lower lip was always planned to go black but someone suggested I do it purple to see how it looks.

Grape Thunder looks so good & I love the reasons you went with the color & the sparkles. As for wheels; I think bronze colored wheels would go good with the purple. Tip: dilute 2 of those quarts and spray through a regular gun then texture with the remaining ones. Works great , you can do a full-size extended cab with 6 qts

How does that compressor work for duty cycle.....I understand that it will run constantly most likely but do you ever run out of air or lose enough pressure that the paint/raptor can't atomizer properly???? Everyone says you need 20+ gallons and $750 minimum compressor to do a whole car. I just drive civic's.

For a proper spray gun you need a good compressor but for raptor liner it never drops too low for use.

Black rims with purple accent and black tint with purple stickers.

As for wheel choice, I personally would Go with a nascar looking wheel .

The video don’t do it justice because it looks better in person. Idk if you noticed but on camera the color is like blue ish sometimes and other times it light pinkish purple because the camera don’t pick it up properly. It’s one of them in person type or paint jobs because certain phones and TV and such can’t pick it up properly. Regardless im the one who has to drive it so there’s that lol

You should try Montana spray paint. They got all types of different cans, low and high pressure, and types of caps.

@@JamesDguy yeah the show we were gonna be having fell apart. Fire department let wrong person organize it and it fell apart. Just got minor things to do left on civic now like fluids exhaust and shift linkage. Got the engine in with the 1.5in lift on it. Talk about pain n the rear lol had to take motor back out just to clearance for the crank pulley to not rub.

I see also now u dry sand your primer. Because I always wet sand it and smooth as glass. Because my father always say I must dry-sand , if I wet sand and it's smooth my paint will peel off , according to him ...?

Dry sand is my go to for bedliner for smooth paint jobs like high gloss smooth i like to wet sand so I don’t go too far and leave too much sand scratches. Your dad isn’t wrong though you want it to have some bite so paint sticks but just depends that grit your using mostly
