Dog Treats Pouch DIY
This video i'll share you how i make a dog treats pouch. Template is inside video.
**Apologies for any inconvenience caused**
For 17" is for both sides, and the corner you could cut in inches size 1 1/4" (measure from bottom up to center) x 1 1/2" (measure from right to center).
The perfect dog treat pouch something in which i can keep plenty of bite-sized goodies to reward good habits from sit to stay or keep dog's delicious treats handy during walks, trainings and trips.
Great gift for dog lovers!

For those confused the illustration shows the entire measurements when it's cut on the fold, which is very confusing. So the 17" should really be 8.5" and the 14" should really be 7" wide

so each piece should be 8.5 by 7 inches
😊Great pattern. Thanks for sharing this. I made one today all out of recycled material in the house and this simple but effective pattern was just the best
Enjoyed making this for my dog's first training class! Thank you for posting!
LOVE THIS!! I made one and modified it to be velcro, and it came out awesome. The squared bottom allows it to stand up on a table, and its just really high quality feeling overall. I'm definitely going to use this again, and use a magnet close and bias tape around the top edge. Definitely recommend.
Thanks! I'm in need of a treat pounch and this will be nice scrap buster.
Great tutorial! I made this one but even considering the measurements are supposed to be for both sides, the bag was a bit too big for what I wanted - so I cut the sizes to around 2/3, and it's perfect!
That was an excellent video. Great instructions. Thank you.
Love this!! Thank you!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Love this idea!

Wonderful! Thank you for watching
What are the seam allowances and how far down is the button hole?
what is that plastic piece called that connects the elastic
` with these measurements, what is the overall size of the pouch?
I finally made this after like 2 years of delay 😂
how far down should the buttonjole be please
Any clue what the seam allowance is? Or do we just have to guess? Button hole placement? Is that another guess? I like this but the “pattern” is so horribly wrong and there is nothing about seam allowances or exactly where to put the button hole. Any help?
How do I find the pattern for this?
With the measurements, the main thing is that the bag needs to fit over the free arm of your sewing machine (from 4:25 and onwards). So the top of the bag needs to measure (half the circumference of the free arm) + seam allowances
How much elastic cording is needed? You say how much ribbon but not the cord. A little help please?
what kind of fabric is the blue one and the one with white and blue?
@EasyToSew

Outer is cotton, lining is waterproof fabric. Thank you for watching.
What material did you use for the inside the blue material?

I used a fabric shower curtain. If this helps
Are these measurements in inches or cm ??????
I am trying to make this but the template measurements don't make sense to me. Is 17 inches x 14 inches correct? It seems too long when I cut it.

Haley Stinnett : Apologies for any inconvenience caused. The measurement 17" for both sides.

@@EasyToSew Much of the confusion is when you state the 17" for both sides. It needs to be re-worded to say a rectangle that is 8.5" x 7". Giving the total of both sides is what confuses people. All measurements should be in either inches or centimeters which is also confusing. You could put both measurements on the pattern to show for those of us that still use inches! Otherwise, after I read several comments and figured out measurements, I got the bag made. Oh you also don't mention how big to make the button hole, but I figured that out and made mine about 1" and 3/8" from top. Thanks. Great idea

@@heidib8338 I know, a year later, but thank you for this explanation. I finally understood! ;)
Where is the description box?
Should the measurements all be in cms? 17 x 14” seems massive, then the corner measurements are in cms which is confusing

I am do confused on what type of fabric she uses for the liner??? 🤷♀️
Still very confusing measurements. I think you should make a proper correction and maybe attach a pattern. 8.5" X 14" is still tooooooo large. Very very confusing! I am trying to figure out something that might work. I am glad I did not cut the fabric before thinking...

@@EasyToSew It was not clear for me if only the 17" is the double size and almost ended up cutting a 7.5" by 14" piece when i realised it is simply way too big. Otherwise very clear explanation.
What waterproof fabric did you use? Thank you

I bought ripstop nylon and wish I hadn't. Found I had to serge each raw edge of it because of fraying. Other than that, it looks good! Making a bunch of these for our local animal shelter for the dog caregivers. Love this tutorial. Thanks!
I tried making one and the measurements are incorrect. I do not get what you mean by 17 inches on both side. My pouch was more like a large purse.

You can slow it down using the tools section (looks like a little gear).
