Good idea for a gun stand. I've been wanting to make some stands for my blasters, but I hesitated because I wasn't sure what material to use. I might try out the metal... nice build man.

I get all my parts online. You just need a base that'll fit your prop. The main parts are the Munsen rings which you can get in different finishes and diameters. When I buy them online I get them with a good length of the threaded rod just to be sure I have enough. The rest is just aesthetic and up to you with the finishing. I like how the brass rods look as the blasters have brass accents on them

You can get fume free superglue, that will stop that white staining on the felt. Certainly stops it on other surfaces.
