DIY Designer Ceiling Lights with LED using Aluminium Profiles
Stop buying designer lights at expensive cost. Now you can make your own. In this video I show you how I made the lights using aluminium profiles. Cut it and stick them together. Later bend the LEDs and there you have a great light.
Materials Used:
1. Aluminium Profiles
2. 12V Daylight LED (4000K) (120 LEDs per meter)
3. 12V 5Amp Power Supply
4. Foam sheet & Cyanoacrylate glue
5. Braided Wire

our customers are always more skilled than we think, sometime we really worry our customer having difficult in assembling locally,,after looking the video ,i think they have tensile methods to do it ,even not perfect, but can finish in full process.

I have a project to do where in I have to suspend triangle shaped profile. What is the angle I need to cut the both ends

Not all angles are available. That's why we used PVC foam. The bond stays strong. Alternatively you can use Fevicol A-Kwik with activator for faster bonding

A couple of questions. 1) What joints would you use to make the lamp more industrial looking and durable? 2) Why not hook the power supply on the top, so it doesn't worsen the aesthetic aspect? 3) Why not just use 1 strip that is more powerful? Questions questions, questions...

1. Use a custom made aluminium clips. 2. Yes power supply always should be hidden. 3. Even a 240 led per meter is not powerful. So had to use twice.

You will not get them in hardware store. Please check for them in electrical or lighting store. They will definitely have it.

These are not cheap methods. It costs as much as the normal lights. But the advantage here is that it's custom made to your space. And the shapes also can be customised.
I tried the same angle 60degree cut but it is not joining and having space of 3-4inch

It's only PVC sheet. You can alternatively use wooden pieces too

Powder coating is not required. A proper coat of paint is also enough after priming
