Awesome DIY. Funny thing I thought about doing a similar thing to my office room before I watched your video. The most important part I am really missing is more information about the electronic - how did you wire it, how did you use the powersupply, etc, etc. Would be nice if you could do a video on or it link it in your desc. :)

I have a video showing the basics of how I wired it, I’ll go into more depth on my part two video but part 1 gives you the basics you would need.

Amazing work! Thanks for putting that together and sharing that. Can you tell me what tool you used to cut-out the insides of the panel? Was that a dremel?
This looks awesome. I like your videos keep it coming. Also i was wondering wouldnt it be easier if you ran the wires at the bottom. Seems like the distance was shorter. but this is awesome

Hello! I just started watching your videos and love them! Is there anyway you could help me come up with a good design for my room? Like to rearrange stuff? Is there anyway to get in touch with you so i cold explain better?
I think the rebranding of the channel with help it grow and to have more flexibility with doing all sorts of content. :D
@FLXtv
3 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY! I love doing just the DIY stuff but they take some serious time to make when time can be limited. Maybe one day this would be my only job and I could crank out more but until then, the new episodes will help!
Hello. Does anyone know where to get that white cover extention cable used at 9:14? I cant find it anywhere in EU amazone.
Cool stuff man! How did you initially stick the panels up before you removed them to cut the foam backer to size? 2 sided tape or did you pull the backs off of the tiles and then just restick them?
@FLXtv
2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I just used double sided tape to keep it up for that short period of time
Just a screwdriver and a knife... and a soldering Iron, Cricut machine (potentially optional) , large builders square, router (potentially optional), drill. You know the basics.
Which soldering iron do you use?
can u do a gaming bedroom with a dark green please
What LED lights did you use for that?
What brand of spray paint did you use on foam?
I need to pay someone to do this, its just too complicated for me and I just don't got the time and space to do it.
I like this video 🇮🇩

After watching all of your videos on how you constructed this. I seem to be missing a step. After you outlined the edges with the light strip. How did you make the all those translucent pieces that sort of hide it all? What material is that? Id really like to see that video. Then I can finally submit my setup.
@FLXtv
2 жыл бұрын
Those are just Acoustic Felt Tiles. You can get them on Amazon. They come in squares but I cut them down into hexagons. You can order pre-cut hexagons as well but I wanted mine a bit smaller so I just cut them down with a razor knife.
@Boeing767DriverAA

@@FLXtv Thanks for getting back to me I guess I didnt make myself clear. I watched your video a few times. At the end you show the panel with the lights doing their thing. But it appears you added on the hexagon outer edge where the light strips are an extra piece so it basically hides the light strip. Otherwise you would see the light strip on the outer edges.
@Boeing767DriverAA
2 жыл бұрын
@@FLXtv I think I figured it out. After cutting the Pink panel with the jigsaw and putting it back on the wall. And you run the light strips then you add the hex panels which are slightly larger and protrude passed the pink panel hiding the light strip. I thought the hex panels would be flush with the pink. Thats what through me off......Once I get this project completed I hope to have my setup to show... Thanks again
What ledstrips do you use ?
@FLXtv
3 жыл бұрын
Those are WS2811 12v strips and I’m using WLED as the controller.
What are you using to power the effects? Just curious.
@FLXtv
3 жыл бұрын
WLED the intro wasn’t done by the controller. However you can connect it to LightFx and create that kind of stuff. That opening was movie magic to sync wit the music. All of the other effects are through WLED though.
