I love how the last piece turned out. Using the off-white as distressing was genius! I 100% understand struggling with a piece. So many things can creep in and throw us off our creative flow. Someone will see that piece and have to have it. I am wishing you and your family LOVE, PEACE & HEALING❤❤❤

That bowl.....is STUNNING.....and has inspired me to make this with a huge bread bowl that I have....and a wooden fancy tray....lol....for my floral fantasy....dark and moody living area!!! I MUST get some Bohemian Blue paint....watching your video, and the finished product on my tv...I have a huge floral painting over my tv..it is a floral of moody blued, deep fuchsias, reds , and a beautiful muddy green....your bowl looked as if it was made to made my painting...lol....GORGEOUS Ms Sharon!! I love that wooden bowl with the transfer. The flowers chosen make the background pop. The painted mix is absolutely gorgeous. As far as pricing, I bet you could get $40 for it if not more. First off, thank God your son is ok 🙏. Loved the projects as I always do. The wood bowl turned out gorgeous even with the bleed through, it gave it even more beauty. Loved the candle holders with the bugs. Very cool. The pastiche stamps project turned out very nice although was not my favorite but still turned out very nice. Oh yes Sharon...the struggle is real! I LOVE the shelf piece. I kinda stay away from the stamps cause I don't know what to do with them. The cloche & cages is so fabulous! I think the bowl is my favorite but really, all are fantastic!

Thank you so much!! I struggle with stamps at times, so you are not alone. Practicing can help and of course pre-stamping on scrap paper, but do what you feel comfortable with, stamps are not necessary!

Missed your videos. So happy your son's well. You have so much talent and you're definitely not like the rest. I love mixed media and don't have time to play much right now. I thought it might be a possibility on the last project if you blended a bit of ink around the edges, antique with a little bit of brown. It was awesome when you posted the picture of the finished project, the lighting made it look like you did add some shadowing and aging. It added depth to it. I think you make great projects.

Everything turned out beautiful! A lot of times we are more critical of ourselves and our creativity and others will love it! Life struggles are real and hit us hard sometimes. I’m so glad your son is doing better. Anytime anything happens with our kids ( even though they are grown adults) it knocks us down. Although you don’t look old enough to have grown kids! So glad your son is ok. ❤ I have done resale/thrift shop sales, etc for as long as I can remember. I no longer have a space since I moved to Virginia, but it will always be a love of mine. I have to say, I think your prices are amazing! I would absolutely love to go into a shop and see prices like yours that are reasonable on such beautiful pieces. It's rare in my experience. Almost everything I have seen for years has had such inflated prices that I'm shocked when things actually sell. I'll be so interested to see what price you put on the dough (?) bowl. I have a price in mind, but I prefer to see what you decide. 😀

The last piece is soooo pretty & will done. I agree with you that sometimes projects just take on a life of their own and what ever you thought you were going to do just flies out of the window....so you put it away and wait until a new idea is born. And if life's challenges get involved, well that's just how it goes.....BTW......when I'm using leafing papers I put the piece into a large tray so that when the bits come off during the brushing process most settle into the tray....works for me. This is my first visit to your channel, looking forward to more.

I struggle when things get hectic with family issues as well. We have a lot happening all at once right now, and it's all I can manage to get the bare necessities completed. Wonderful video! I have found when doing transfers, if you burnish with the side of the carrier sheet that the transfer actually cones off of it works much better. The side that actually has the transfer on is a more matte side which gives micro air pockets that allows the sheet to not “stick” to the transfer as you burnish it, kind of like using the cling wrap to burnish your decoupage paper. The opposite side of the carrier sheet is slick therefore causes drag that will sometimes grab the transfer as you burnish which can rip or lift it up. Hope this helps.

I was thrilled to see your video pop up 1st this a.m. I'm sorry to hear you and your family have been going thru a difficult time. I'll kero you in my prayers. OMG... You made it worth the wait with these Gorgeous Creations. You never disappoint, even when you say you struggle or an item is not your fave. The dough bowl price in my area would be, at least, $50-$70. I'm in the metro ATL area. The color you mixed is a color I had mixed for a friend of mine. I made her some candlestick to make a custom color island. I would have left it alone too. The bleed thru WAS a happy outcome. And, the sconces are Stunning. You really bring the inspiration to us. Love the idea of the gold leaf over the ink. Then, the cabinet turned out Lovely also. The contrast is perfect. Not trying to criticize the first piece, the bowl, but honestly that was worth alot more before painting it. I know in my area those types of bowls usually go for $70-$90 but painting it brings the value down alot. Don't get me wrong I think it turned out pretty. Just letting you know how something like that is valued in my area. Love your content! You have great ideas.

I love to use Dawn Power Wash, but sometimes the stains won't go away without sanding. Thank you!

I loved bugs and tree frogs as a kid! And still do! I have 3 daughters and my middle daughter is the only one that has any interest in insects but mainly butterflies, moths, things like that.
