I just made this bag- as a personal item for flying - 18x14x8!!!I even added an outside pocket for a water bottle!! Thank you for the tutorial!! Though each step was easy, the total steps for me was quite the accomplishment!! I would say simple not easy!! I love my new bag and now my friends want one!!

It is odd how the same product is called by different names in other countries. Here in America what you call calico is called muslin. Our calico is actually a printed fabric. Usually small allover floral. Love the bag. A very different way of making. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Your video was FANTASTIC. Iv literally taken notes and will be trying this out at the earliest. I'm a novice at sewing and I'm worried my needle keeps breaking when I sew thick materials or too many layers.

Merci pour ce modèle très facile à réaliser. Je m'en suis inspirée pour ajouter des poches zippées à l'extérieur et au niveau de la doublure. Résultat impeccable et cabas bien pratique de taille moyenne.

LOVE YOUR BAGS, & tutorials. My only feedback is this: you should press that seam flat before you stitch the sides. Because, while they will be nice and flat where you’ve stitched them down, they won’t be in the body of the bag. My home economics teacher was awesome!!! Her skill set was the top of the scale…cream of the crop. She taught us to press every seam after stitching it…from the wrong and right sides. It does make your garment-or whatever you’ve stitched-look professional. We didn’t give us a final grade on our project until we wore it to school 😏😋. So, it had to look finished, polished and professional. I had her class every year in high school and think of her now as I’m sewing. Made all my clothes for decades, then made lots of stuff for my son. Still sewing at 64…love it…it’s my passion. Just wouldn’t be able to get along if I didn’t sew. Take care everyone.
