Hot glue gun won't hold any weight. For temporary hold until you sew it. Looks good for demo, but not for use.

En vez de utilizar Silicon cómo lo haces tú, término las manualidades cosiéndolas y me quedan bellas, tal vez tú uses el silicon para abreviar el video...Dios te bendijo con éste hermoso Talento, le pido a Él que bendiga también tus manos y tú Vida. Opino igual, desde que existe la silicona parece que sin ella no saben qué hacer. Antes, las manualidades tenían el ingenio y la creatividad como base, usando lo que había a la mano.

I was disappointed that it is not the same handbag as shown to make. I did get some ideas. I have not or do I intend to use hot glue on items that are sewn. Hot glue is for crafting. Hey, it worked for the young lady-so good for her.

Hola, me gusta el diseño, la verdad empezó haciendo muy bien la labor, pero la terminación con silicona no me parece, va a llevar algo de peso y con el tiempo esta se desprende de la tela.

Estaba bien cuando cosias el bolso pero ponerle silicona caliente ya lo hecho a perder, eso no va a soportar ningún peso y se va a cortar. Existe pegamento especial para telas y en todo caso sería mejor coserlo todo a máquina , quedaría más firme.

I read a lot of comments on this bag. If you use hot glue on fabric it actually holds up very well. I do understand of sewing the bag it will last longer. From my experience I’ve tried to take off hot glue of one of my clothes it was actually pretty hard to get off. I did get most of it off there were still a little left on my clothes. Bottom line it was hard to get off. That’s my opinion. It was a very cute diy.

Very cute. But I have a question, I noticed you use hot glue for most your bags. How does it hold up after long use and washing? We tend to hold lots of things in bags does the glue hold up with heavy items in purse?

Would you consider doing a video like this without music but, instead just the sounds of the technique (scissors cutting, smoothing the fabric with your hands, the whiz of the machine)? Like an ASMR + Tutorial. No talking. Just doing. Background noise is fine, and will add to it. ♥️

I’m assuming for video purposes that’s why hot glue was used, this came out pretty but I have to agree I would have used fabric glue instead of hot glue, unless your using the gorilla 🦍 glue sticks

One of the BEST reasons why you do not glue the straps on. Thank you! I love this project and am looking for the original but this is quick and easy - however I will substitute sewing my straps onto the bag over gluing them. If you're just going to take a change of clothes or beach wear and sunscreen it's perfect (glued okay), but to use to carry a wallet with your I.D., money and other valuable items.... I wouldn't suggest it. All in all - it is really how you choose to make it and/or use it. Use your discretion. I'll sew it only because I'm too lazy to plug in that glue gun, and I don't like burning my fingers when pressing a piece of fabric (no matter how thick) onto the hot glue itself haha. GREAT PROJECT THOUGH! Thank you! This is also perfect for a lunch bag (smaller version) :)

Я б сверху пристрочила б сквозную полосочку и пропустив сквозь нее одну длинную лямочку соединила б с полосочкой снизу и получился б рюкзачок. А еще добавила б деталь вверху как на рюкзаке.
