I have this exact heat gun! Worth more than the $20 I paid for it tbh. I used it with acrylic pours, & now with shrink film since it’s more controllable than an oven imo- but I have a Cricut & printable HTV, & you have just opened sooo many doors🤯🤯 Thank you so much for this tutorial!🥰

I would say for all asking about using an iron yes you can. The instruction actually say to use an iron and mention nothing about a heat gun. Try both and see what works better 4 ya

Can you do this with a Lazer printer? Or only ink jet?

I am honestly not sure. i have only used regular ink in an inkjet for this process.

Start low if you’ve never used a heat gun or don’t know how to gage temperature. Best wishes with it ✌🏾

i’m having this problem with the vinyl cement when i apply it.. it goes on and looks bumpy and bubbly in a way. i don’t know how to get it smooth

On another video they use an easy press to adhere and then a heat gun to smooth it out. I am not sure if that would work here, in that video they were adhering it to a fabric shoe. I just thought I would mention it. Good Luck. I love these shoes.. they are so cute.

No only heat transfer vinyl (HTV) permanent vinyl is not for clothes or shoes

yes but if the shoe is also white like these forces it wont be very noticable

Maybe 10-20 mins. It’s not going to come off immediately so you can let it cool. The purpose of the cement is to SEAL it, not to glue it down.

@@calmeleon yea I got the sealing put...based of ya vid didn't know if you used it right after or waited...I tried few times but I think I over heated it....but I'm not gone give up...

It’ll ruin it! It’ll melt the vinyl on contact. Only a heat gun works
