and the best thing about the glass bulbs is you can buy a large cheap set in walmart in ANY color and still cover it and can get a set of 12 for about 5$ Also maybe a bit of the color may shimmer through the glass. I always bought the cheap glass bulbs and zhooshed them up with glitter

Thank you!😊 I removed some of the brooches because the crushed glass was a bit much to have a ton of brooches although it was nice it appeared to be more elegant with less but if you decide to make one I'm sure the bulbs would be equally as beautiful placing a lot of brooches on your bulb... if you decide to make one you're going to have so much fun with this project 😊

These ornaments are beautiful!!!! I want to try to make them. I have everything but the crystals. I live in Indianapolis and I cannot find the crystals. I have even tried to find them online but nothing looks like the ones you have. Tried Michaels and hobby lobby. Please can you tell me where I can find them snd who makes them so that I can begin this project. I would be eternally grateful. I have a special needs granddaughter and we are going to make them together. She asks me daily when can she help Nana with the crystals! Help! Please and thank you for posting. I sure hope you find the crushed glass so you and your granddaughter can have such fun making these Christmas bulbs.
