Any comments I have tried to do this the crochet needle does not go through the zipper edge like that and when you do get it through and try to pull the yarn through it frays the yarn it will not come through what am I doing wrong

Practice, try to done it just 1 time and remember how you done it and do ot again. or maybe cause of zipper type.
