As I see, many of us have lost mothers recently...I wish everyone a happy, peaceful mother's day, but especially if you aren't able to be with your mother either. That aside, I absolutely love watching your videos! It's such a pleasure to watch you transform and upcycle things that would otherwise be forgotten or thrown away. Oh gracious the wicker piece was a great piece to display your vignette. I loved everything!! Ok, so now I need to find some paint buckets and bed posts. They made great risers. The one with the China plate was perfect for glasses and jewelry. And yes, I painted the resin and used Waverly’s antique wax on it. It’s hard for the initial paint to stick so if I have time I use spray paint for a primer since the resin is slick. I thought about you today because I know tomorrow is bittersweet. I know your mom was an amazing woman to have raised such a Godly daughter. It’s been a whirlwind of a week so I’m hoping to rest some tomorrow. Hugs and hugs and hugs!!!

They can change so much!! I have made book stacks with beautiful old books. I wouldn't decorate them like these, but use vintage laces to tie them together. Ive used several types of dried flowers on the tops & I love the simple elegance that they bring to my home. I bought 2 smaller galvanized buckets yoday and few larger last week. I loved how you decorated yours and will be trying something similar to this with them. Have a blessed Mothers Day. 🙏🙏🩷🙏🙏
