DIRECTIONS:
Hi Friends! Andrea Lake here with an easy and fun to put together gift to celebrate Mother’s Day. I used the Poppy and Pear collection to decorate a camera shaped box and made three little journals to go in it. These will be decorated with photos and memories as well as journaling.
To make these journals, I trimmed 4 pieces of single sided patterned paper at 12” x 3 ⅞” and folded them in half, I stacked them one on top of the other and used the We R Makers Journal Book Binding tool to poke aligned and perfectly spaced holes with a hole piercer following the marked guides from the tool. I then used thin elastic thread and a needle to keep the books together.
I repeated the process two more times and made a total of three little journals I am keeping in the box. I decorated them using Foam and puffy stickers, as well as a couple of ephemera pieces from the Poppy and Pear collection by Bea Valint.
