I wish this video had been uploaded like 2 years ago I did this mod to my 15' RT 2 years ago, back then I tried to give it a shot it was kind of complicated and the think look like it would brake if I force it, there was no mod videos anywhere related on the internet to follow not even the forums so a went to a body shop and they figured out for me nice video bro I least I understand how the process works thanks for sharing

Wow sorry we couldn't help you out in time for your mod... it can be a bit tricky thats for sure!

I ran my challenger with straight pipe for a while.. was loud and dirty, I loved it... then I put some Flowmaster super 10s in the midst, got quieter, and smoother, it's OK but Im starting to miss that straight pipe terror

Can I install this air deflector onto my 2018 challenger sxt? just going for aesthetics at this point, just making it look nice I'm gonna trade it in for a scat pack in about a year or so.

I just got a 2015 plus and she needs a lil more on the lip. so the scat pack will fit ? hate getting the wrong one on my limited budget.

Mine came with the 68259515ac part for the left and right side. Where did you put it?

I keep seeing close out panel parts that are said to go along with the lip install. Are these needed? I didn’t see them in the video. Planning on doing the same install

The actual install takes a bit longer than suggested in the video without removing the bumper BUT this was a GREAT amount of help once all the plastic under trays are removed. Thanks @Hemifam !!

So I went to purchase one of these bad boys at the dealership about 2 days after doing hours of research trying to get the right oem part number and was asked for my vin number on my vehicle and they kept bringing me a sxt replacement lip 🤦🏾‍♂️ is there a way I can get a vin # off a scat or rt since those come stock cause even when I directly asked for a “scat pack lip” they told me they couldn’t give me one

Yes, it does. I put one on my SXT a few years back. Took me around 5 hours or so (due to all the clips and screws Dodge made incredibly difficult to remove) but it fits no problem.

You can get a plastic rivet gun kit that has the sizes needed at your local harbor freight as far as the panels go the just fit into place and on the sides near the fenders, hope this helps you out a bit. 🙂

Hemifam I went to auto zone they didn’t have a clue what I was talking about, the guy told me to pop one out and see if they can match it. Needless to say it was a complete fail, I’m just curious if there are factory rivets or something that I can purchase online? Also I understand where the corner panels go, but I don’t know what to use to keep them in place. The guy in ur vid had them on before he even started what did he use to keep those in place? Is it a screw or another rivet?

Did this yesterday all by myself. If you remove the bumper it’s super easy.

I believe you can install an APR on a stock lip but I always recommend installing a SP lip before the APR splitter if it's going on a Challenger.

Those clips would have been a lot easier to put in if you had lined them up and then used a rubber mallet or less preferably pounded them in with your palm.

Not sure exact part number honestly just search Scat Pack lip in Ebay and look for the OEM Mopar one. NP Dude hope this video helps out.

Not sure about that you'd have to check what years the SP lip fits when ordering the part this was installed on a 2015 Challenger R/T.

No it snaps on and bolts, if it’s not a direct fitment body shop can MAKE it fit but they drill into the body

Nice, that Challenger needs some wheel well TLC, you need to brake out some product ASAP !

No. your best option for this type of set up would be to get diverters.. Check out @workplaydrive he has some good stuff and did this on his challenger.

Eh...you gotta take an L for this one. Yes you showed how to install it for the most part, but you missed the most important step which happens to be the first: taking off the original bumper. Assuming that we know how to do so is a mistake and could cause someone to mess up their car. However, I do understand that you won't be held liable for it, but that still doesn't change the fact that you half-baked this video. If you were worried about it being too long, you could have edited out small parts that weren't needed for the installation process. I'm not bashing by no means; if anything, I'm offering constructive criticism. It's your decision on whether to take it or blow it off. Hopefully it's the former.

Late but he didn't remove the bumper. You remove the plastic belly pans with the obvious screws. The one for the oil change and the one in front and go from there

For the most part the same ones were used if any broke or were lost you can get a rivet kit that will work.
