Hey guys.
Today in this tutorial I am going to show you how to create a colorful floral manicure, that you can create on both of your hands without any hassle. This method saves your time of drying up the polish onto your hands.
For this, the supplies that you will require are:
A base coat.
A clear nail polish.
Orange nail polish.
Golden or lemon yellow nail paint.
Pink nail polish.
Green nail paint.
Purple nail paint.
White nail paint or white acrylic will work as well.
A top coat.
Tools: dotting tool,toothpick, hair pin (any)
Striper brush(you can make your own as well)
Tweezer
A pair of scissors or cutter.
A nail filer.
Cuticle pusher
A ziplock bag or sandwich bag or polythene bag.
Procedure:
1# For making stickers or decals::
step1:
Lay the polythene bag flat on a surface and start by applying a thick layer of clear polish.
Once the first layer dries go for second layer of clear polish and let it dry completely.
Notes: make sure that you apply enough clear polish to cover your entire nail ie the length and width of it. For this you can also draw a sketch for the area of your nail by a pen or marker underneath the bag.
Thick layer of clear polish will create the base for the other polishes and it will help us later on to peel off the stickers or decals.
Step 2:
Load your striper brush with white acrylic or polish,and start by making longitudinal parallel lines. For this gently place the striper brush onto the sticker and drag it downwards to create a line.
Notes:
White stripes are drawn to bring a contrast of light and dark tones of a color.
If lines are not going straight don't worry, these will go underneath the other colors.
Step 3: colorful background.
For this start by randomly placing drops of each polish ie pink,orange,green and golden on the striped stickers as if you are playing with the colors.
you can also go for one more round of colors to blend them evenly.
step 4:
with the help of dotting tool or toothpick start making little cute flowers. Just place a drop of white polish and drag it inwards to create flowers. You can create as many petals as you like.
Finish the flowers with a pop of purple in the middle.
step 4:
seal the design with a clear polish and let it dry for couple of hours (in my case overnight).
2#placing the stickers onto nails.
For this lightly lift off the edge of sticker by scraping the ends with the any tools.
lightly lift them up with the help of tweezer or your fingers.
Place the sticker on the nails and cut off the excess with the pair of scissors.Or nail filer or cuticle pusher.
Another method is to dip the brush or ear bud or Q-tip in the nail polish remover and melt down the excess by wiping it off.
Finally apply a coat of top coat to bring back the shine that can be lost due to finger prints,..
