The main materials for creating these jars are cardboard and jars, which can be easily found in any home or work environment. Really cool craft...lots of work involved...I wouldn't have glued them in because if you have to wash them you can't remove the glass ... The work was awesome!

Hi there! Thank you for your wonderful comment. I'm glad you liked these jars. I decided to glue cardboard to the jars because I believe that sugar, coffee, and tea jars don't need to be washed. They can simply be wiped with a damp cloth. However, even brief exposure to water shouldn't harm the cardboard because the jars are coated with several layers of waterproof matte lacquer.
