DIY Closet Doors! With FULL installation! Sheer Rattan Look Created With burlap!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here's how I made my own closet doors. YAY!! This is something I've wanted to make for a while now. I wanted something different and decided to go with a rattan look. Since rattan is really expensive I went with stretched burlap. This is a really budget friendly way to make closet door panels and the options are endless. If you don't want to use fabric in the middle you can always add thin plywood. The total cost for each closet door cost me around $11.25 which is a STEAL DEAL! I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! Hope you like em!
( To make your own custom closet doors + for plans visit my blog) I explain how I did it and give examples.

You did an amazing job! I am still imitated by the closet door kit, I bought it and then returned it. I am deciding if I want to do doors like these OR just hang up a curtain that I can just pull to the side!

Hi I am thinking of doing this project for my closet. sadly most stores don't have the right size for my larger opening. My closet doesn't have the wood to hide the top rack unfortunately so I am trying to figure out the right measurement for the wood so it fits. I was wondering if you measured the opening before putting in the top bi-fold rack or after putting it in?

I did a amazing good. I been looking for an affordable idea for my moms closet. Quick question since you decided not to put the fabric between the wood, does it still need to be cut in 1/2? I wouldn't think so but just checking. TFS

Thank you :) Not you don't have to cut them in half but too attach then I would use a kreg jig instead to make slanted holes. You can then use screws to secure all the pieces together. We did this with our barn doors - kzread.info/dash/bejne/iIyH0biycs7Hqbw.html

hi there, i know it has been a while since you posted this, hoping you still see my message. do you still have these doors? how is it working after all these years since you made them? any issues you had to fix since? another question please, you mentioned you SUBTRACTED 1/4 inches of each side (all 4 sides) of the panels to fit the hinges, is that correct? thanks.

It can I just feel like maybe it would take longer to dry that way? I was also worried I didn't have enough diluted paint. If I were to do this I would make sure I have enough before dipping it in.

All you need to do to be saved is believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins was buried and came back to life on the 3d day confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and you’ll be saved. Today is the day of salvation tomorrow is not promised and you don’t want to miss the rapture it will be so bad like nothing ever seen before on earth. God bless

If you don't have a table saw you can make them without one. you can do this by not splitting the wood and instead use a kreg jig to make slanted holes in your wood to secure your pieces to create the door frame.
