Dear Marguerite, the basis material can be found from old unnecessary clothes. Silicone molds and clay I bought from Aliexpress. They not expensive!

I bought Squirrel Modeling Silicone Mold in AliExpress and clay LaDoll. Fill the silicone mold with clay. Put in freezer for 20 minutes. Let dry before gluing
